Picture Quality
The Panasonic VIERA TC-P60GT30 has superb picture quality, it is 1080p full HD and it also has a plasma screen (plasma screens are much better than LCD screens). Both and color sharpness and accuracy are superb, meaning you will always get a high quality, crisp image.
The motion clarity is also fantastic, this simply means that images will not blur with fast paced action. Image coloring is vibrant and bright without being at all unrealistic. The TV also comes with THX mode which offers outstanding picture quality right out of the box, so no need for tweaking.
Sound Quality
Like the majority of 60 inch TVs, the VIERA TC-P60GT30 has poor sound quality, this is simply because it is impossible to fit a high quality audio system into such a slim and compact unit.
It is highly recommended that you buy a surround sound system to go with TV, this will mean that the audio quality will equally match the picture quality, which makes the viewing experience a lot more balanced and enjoyable.
Extras
The 3D functionality of the VIERA TC-P65GT30 is very impressive, the picture has great depth and the THX mode improves the coloring even in 3D mode. No crosstalk is visible either when watching in 3D which is fantastic (crosstalk is simply when the 3D images overlap).
The Panasonic VIERA TC-P65GT30 is also 100% internet ready, it has built-in WiFi and comes with a range of TV and film services available right away. It also comes with Viera Connect, which is an apps marketplace for Viera televisions, new apps are constantly being added.
Since the TV uses a plasma screen it does consume a lot of power, however this is offset by superior picture quality. Also during the first 100 to 200 hours of viewing, there is a slight buzzing sound. This softens over time or if you decrease brightness.
